Meditation helps us to cope with stress, improve health, unlock creativity, and more! Is your mind where you want it to be? If not, it's time to train it! Discover what meditation is, how it works and how it can become an enjoyable daily experience.

These classes are suitable for new students and for those wishing to enhance or strengthen their practice. Every session offers an opportunity to discover the many dimensions and benefits of meditation and equips students with the information, experience and motivation required to develop a regular meditation routine. You will begin a daily practice with the first class and finish with a personal practice plan.

 

Meditation is increasingly being recognised by the Western medical establishment as a major component in health and wellness. To discover which methods resonate most effectively, students will participate in a number of guided and silent meditations including the following techniques:

It is important to be comfortable. If the body is still, the mind will follow. A variety of seating options include chairs, meditation stools, bolsters and cushions.

 

To develop a thorough understanding of meditation and to derive the maximum benefits, you are encouraged to attend all six sessions however each class can be attended on a casual basis.
