Life 6. Laughter, Inspiration and Peace These classes are suitable for new students and for those wishing to
enhance or strengthen their practice. Every session offers an opportunity to
discover the many dimensions and benefits of meditation and equips students with
the information, experience and motivation required to develop a regular
meditation routine. You will begin a daily practice with the first class and
finish with a personal practice plan. Meditation is increasingly being recognised
by the Western medical establishment as a major component in health and
wellness. To discover which methods resonate most effectively, students will
participate in a number of guided and silent meditations including the following
techniques: Witnessing the Mind Sound and Music Awareness Mantras and Affirmations Likhita Japa Breath Awareness Light and Healing Visualisations Self-Inquiry Tratak Contemplation Mindful Walking Intentional Laughter It is important to be comfortable. If the body is still, the mind
will follow. A variety of seating options include chairs, meditation stools,
bolsters and cushions. To develop a thorough understanding of meditation and to derive the
maximum benefits, you are encouraged to attend all six sessions however each
